You agree not to:

3. Quote Requests and Form Submissions
Our website may allow you to submit contact information, project details, messages, and images to request a quote, lighting preview, consultation, or other information.
Submitting a form does not create a customer relationship, service agreement, or obligation for us to provide services. A project is not approved, scheduled, or guaranteed until both parties agree to the scope, pricing, timing, and any required payment terms.
You are responsible for making sure the information you provide is accurate and complete. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect the accuracy of our quote, lighting preview, recommendations, or project planning.
4. Uploaded Images and Lighting Previews
Our website may allow you to upload images of your home, property, yard, landscaping, or outdoor spaces. By uploading an image, you confirm that you own the image or have permission to use and submit it.
You grant Haven Landscape Lighting permission to use uploaded images for purposes related to your inquiry, including reviewing your property, preparing recommendations, creating lighting preview renderings, providing estimates, communicating with you, and planning potential services.
Lighting previews, renderings, mockups, illustrations, and AI-assisted images are for general visualization purposes only. They are intended to help show the possible look and feel of landscape lighting, but they are not a guarantee of exact fixture placement, light output, brightness, color, shadows, beam spread, final appearance, or project results.
Actual results may vary based on fixture selection, installation conditions, property layout, landscaping, weather, camera exposure, existing lighting, surface materials, plant growth, power availability, and other site-specific factors.
We will not use uploaded customer images for public marketing, advertising, social media, website galleries, case studies, or portfolio examples without your permission.
5. Estimates, Pricing, and Availability
Any prices, estimates, ranges, examples, or cost information shown on our website or provided through initial communication are for general informational purposes only unless specifically stated otherwise in a written proposal.
Final pricing may depend on the property, design, fixture selections, materials, labor, site conditions, transformer or power needs, trenching requirements, wiring distances, permitting needs, change requests, and other project-specific factors.
We reserve the right to update pricing, service availability, and offerings at any time.
6. Project Proposals and Service Agreements
For paid services, we may provide a written estimate, proposal, invoice, or service agreement. That document may include additional terms related to scope of work, materials, payment, scheduling, warranty, cancellations, and project-specific requirements.
If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed project proposal or service agreement, the signed project proposal or service agreement will control for that specific project.
No installation work, material ordering, or project scheduling is guaranteed until we have accepted the project and any required deposit or payment has been received.
7. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property and project needs.
You may also be responsible for:
Confirming property ownership or permission to authorize work
Identifying property lines, easements, irrigation lines, drainage systems, invisible fences, private utilities, or other underground items
Providing safe and reasonable access to the property
Securing approvals from an HOA, landlord, property manager, or other required party
Keeping pets, children, and others away from active work areas
Notifying us of known hazards, restrictions, or access issues
Maintaining landscaping or property conditions that may affect lighting performance
We are not responsible for delays, additional costs, or damages caused by inaccurate information, hidden conditions, restricted access, unmarked private utilities, or lack of required customer approvals.
8. Permits, Codes, and Licensed Work
Some projects may require permits, inspections, utility coordination, licensed electrical work, or compliance with local codes, HOA rules, or neighborhood requirements.
Where required, work may need to be performed by properly licensed professionals or subcontractors. We reserve the right to decline or delay work if required approvals, permits, access, or licensed trade support are not available.
You are responsible for HOA approvals, neighborhood approvals, and customer-side permissions unless we agree otherwise in writing.
9. Scheduling and Delays
Project dates and installation timelines are estimates unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.
Scheduling may be affected by weather, material availability, site conditions, customer availability, property access, permitting, utility coordination, subcontractor availability, or other factors outside our control.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Changes to Scope of Work
Any changes to the agreed project scope may affect pricing, timing, materials, and installation details.
Changes may include, but are not limited to, adding fixtures, moving fixtures, changing fixture types, expanding zones, modifying wiring routes, adjusting transformer needs, changing control systems, or requesting additional visits.
We may require written approval and additional payment before completing changes outside the original agreed scope.
11. Payments, Deposits, and Invoices
Payment terms will be provided in the applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
We may require a deposit before ordering materials, reserving installation time, or beginning work. Deposits, progress payments, final payments, and due dates will be stated in the applicable project document.
Failure to make required payments may result in project delays, suspension of work, cancellation, collection efforts, or other remedies allowed by law.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms may vary depending on the project stage, materials ordered, custom work performed, scheduling commitments, and applicable law.
If you cancel a project after materials have been ordered, design work has been completed, previews have been created, or installation time has been reserved, you may be responsible for costs already incurred.
Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation rights you may have under applicable federal, state, or local law, including any cancellation rights that may apply to certain in-home, door-to-door, or home-solicitation sales.
If a separate written agreement gives you additional cancellation or refund rights, that written agreement will apply to the specific project.
13. Maintenance, Repairs, and Warranty
Landscape lighting systems may require maintenance over time. This may include adjusting fixtures, replacing lamps or components, repairing wire damage, cleaning lenses, adjusting timers or controls, addressing plant growth, and repairing damage caused by weather, animals, landscaping work, irrigation, digging, or normal wear.
Any warranty we provide will be stated in the applicable project proposal, invoice, or service agreement. Manufacturer warranties may also apply to certain products or components.
Unless stated in writing, warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, severe weather, animals, irrigation, landscaping crews, digging, third-party work, customer modifications, power issues, or conditions outside our control.
14. No Guarantee of Specific Results
We aim to provide high-quality design, installation, and service. However, outdoor lighting results can be affected by many conditions outside our control.
We do not guarantee that the final installed lighting will exactly match any rendering, preview, photo, example, or inspiration image. We also do not guarantee specific increases in property value, security, safety, visibility, curb appeal, or enjoyment.
15. Website Content
The content on our website is provided for general informational and promotional purposes. This may include service descriptions, pricing examples, project examples, images, blog posts, FAQs, and other information.
We try to keep website information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.
We may update, remove, or change website content at any time without notice.

We are not responsible for the content, practices, terms, privacy policies, or performance of third-party websites or services.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
18. Privacy
Your use of our website and submission of personal information are also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, share, and protect information, including contact details, website analytics, cookies, and uploaded images.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to website use or services will not exceed the amount you paid to Haven Landscape Lighting for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100) if no payment was made.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
